I'm paranoid sometimes (if i have tooo goodastash) about torrent sites

If you are getting any pirated copies of any media, here's what Bittorrent inventor Bram Cohen said, from the New York Times, 2/12/2004:

"Using BitTorrent for illegal trading, he added, is 'patently stupid because it's not anonymous, and it can't be made anonymous because it's fundamentally antithetical to the architecture.'"

Correct.

Is the Achive affiliated with bt.etree?

There is fan volunteer overlap, but they are 2 separate sites and projects.
